PROGRAMS
Each year, Council Member Agencies serve over 100,000 families, making this one of the largest associations of non-governmental providers of services to Connecticut’s children, youth, adults and their families. Member agencies provide professional mental health and family support services to people of all races, religions, ages, and economic statuses. Member agencies currently serve as a statewide provider network for four Council programs – The Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Case Management Program, The Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Case Management Program, the federally funded Screening Connecticut’s Youth (SCY) Program to detect early signs of mental health challenges or trauma related issues in the children of the state, and the court mandated Parent Education Program (PEP) for parents seeking a divorce in the state.
With 13 agencies and 100 program sites across the state, the Council is the premier resource for any initiative or program focused on the well-being of Connecticut’s children, individuals and families.
