Intern
Claire graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in 2017. Having previously worked in a primary care physician’s office throughout undergrad, she later began working as a Life Enrichment Aid in a Memory Care unit working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients after graduating.
She is passionate about improving the lives of others, so she began working on her Masters of Public Health at UCONN Health in Farmington with the goal to provide better opportunities for those who could not advocate for themselves.
During the global pandemic, she was encouraged by policy decisions and legislative advocacy surrounding the public health crisis to begin her Master’s in Public Policy at UCONN Hartford. She is excited to graduate with her MPP and MPH in August of 2022.
Having learned about CCFSA through the school of Public Policy, she is thrilled to be working at an organization that engages in teamwork and collaboration. She is interning at CCFSA with hopes to learn more about non-profits and is excited about all the support the Council provides to our member organizations and the commitment to help those in Connecticut.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, and creating art.
